Proverbs 2 8-2-19

Learning to accept what God says can be difficult, which is why we come to the well of grace and truth each day.

Day 14 of 21 Days of Deep

1 My child, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you,

How? By consistently replacing the lies of Satan with the truth of Jesus. His word is truth (John 17:17). Let’s look at some truths on PRAYER.

14 This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. 15 And if we know that he hears us—whatever we ask—we know that we have what we asked of him.

NOTE: To know what to pray, read Ephesians 3:14-21.

SOAP

Scripture-Read it. Ask the Spirit to speak to you as you read.

Observe– Did you notice anything particular? Did the Spirit highlight anything?

Apply– How does this passage apply to you? Is your overall desire to please Jesus and to look like Him?

Pray– Ask the Lord to help you understand-even deeper-what it means to have Christ in you. Ask Him the what, where, when, why and how concerning this passage.
