Are we listening for rhe Lord’s voice? Is it a habit? Doesn’t it thrill your soul that the God of the universe talks to us?
2 The tongue of the wise commends knowledge, but the mouth of the fool gushes folly.
As i was reading Luke this morning, I read a verse that spoke my heart. Here it is:
...for the Holy Spirit will teach you at that time what you should say.” Luke 12:12
WOW! He wants to teach me! That’s BIG. But, what’s even bigger is that He wants me to speak for Him!
The same is true for all of us. He has called us to be His ambassadors:
We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making his appeal through us. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. 2 Corinthians 5:20
Here’s the previous verse from Luke:
“When you are brought before synagogues, rulers and authorities, do not worry about how you will defend yourselves or what you will say, Luke 12:11
Instead of seeing difficult circumstances as, well, difficult circumstances, let’s see them as opportunities to be representatives of Christ to those around us. When we do, we experience the Lord on a whole new level. We learn what true dependence is and how much fun it can be. We learn to trust Him!
Let’s take our job as His ambassadors seriously today, shall we?
