Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are a honeycomb,
sweet to the soul and healing to the bones.
It doesn’t get any plainer than that! Let’s look at a few more:
[15:4] The [gracious] tongue that brings healing is a tree of life, but a deceitful [harsh, cutting, rude] tongue crushes the spirit.
[16:21] The wise in heart are called discerning,
and gracious/pleasant words promote instruction.
[22:11] He who loves a pure heart and whose speech is gracious will have the king for his friend.
Let’s be the aroma of Christ today as we use words that are full of grace (gracious words).
