We are not told what Wisdom’s seven pillars are, but I believe that they are the seven attributes mentioned in chapter one.
Seven pillars-from 1:2-7: Wisdom, Instruction, Understanding, Insight, Prudence, Knowledge and Discernment.
Wisdom– verse 10, 12a. Know that you need Him. For everything. All the time.
Instruction-verse 9. Be a lifetime learner.
Understanding-verse 10. God does not play games with us. He wants us to know Him and understand Him.
Insight-verse 6. Know that left on our own, we will be duped, trapped, and devoured by the enemy. See John 10:10, 1 Peter 5:8.
Prudence-verse 8. Know what to do and when.
Knowledge-verse 9, 10 “Knowledge is power”-actually, it’s not what you know, but Who you know: Jesus!
Discernment-verse 3. Jesus said, “He who has ears, let him hear.” It is important that we listen to the right source and be tuned in. Otherwise, His voice will be drowned out by all the other voices that are around us vying for our attention.
Take time to tune in today. READ!
